Board meetings are held on
the second Monday of each month, at the Round Table Pizza on
Missouri Flat Road in the Safeway shopping center. All
persons wishing to help make this a successful year are
encouraged to attend. We need more Board members!
The next Board meeting is September 8, 6-8 PM.
Signups for both football and
cheer are still possible. In fact, we need more players at all
levels except Bantam. We especially need Mighty Mites (ages
8-10). You can go to the "Forms" tab and
print out the four application items labeled in
yellow.
Completed forms may be mailed to
El Dorado Jr. Cougars POB 159 Diamond Springs, CA 95619.
Or they can be dropped off at SIERRA DENTAL AND ORTHODONTIA in Shingle
Springs, just east of the Gold Harvest market. Or bring
them to the field at El Dorado High School.
All former players are
especially encouraged to sign up. Please encourage a friend
to play as well! See below

For those families lacking funds in
these difficult times, team members may sell sponsorship ads to
local business and 100% of the funds so raised will offset the
signup costs! Sponsorships may also be used to pay volunteer work deposits
as well. However, no refunds of any type will be given
for sponsorships in lieu of cash payments. Sponsorship forms may be
found under the "Forms" tab on this website.
Rather than a program, this year the
team is developing a year book, which should be of special interest
to our business associates who have purchased advertising space.
The Board asks that you increase the value of the advertising
purchases of business, by patronizing those that support the Jr.
Cougars whenever possible.
